I finally got my RPD. This one has been in the works for quite a while. My dad and I were going to build this up ourselves but we opted to have it built instead. It's a belt fed, semi-auto rifle that shoots the standard AK round, 7.62x39. This one was originally made in 1960. It's been Duracoated flat black although the original finish was quite nice on certain parts. Still need to test fire it, but work is throwing a wrench in that one this week. Maybe this weekend.

Arizona does have decent firearms laws, at least for now. Although being semi-auto, this one is really no different than a standard AK or AR out here.

Yeah for sure, I will take some action pics and or vids when we go out. It might be a week or two but I will post them up.

You should be able to stay on target because it won't be bouncing around like an AK. Load her up, and go blazing!

Except that it's a belt-fed! Find yourself or fashion for yourself a handcrank for loads of legal almost-NFA fun!

Congrats on the new rifle. I like those.

Sweet stuff Jeeps, Is it a fabric belt or metal links? I would hate to be a zombie in your neck of the woods.

True jbombelli that feature is unique .

Bond, The links are metal and come in sections. The whole belt mechanism is pretty interesting form a design standpoint.

That would look good mounted on the hood of your Jeep, after folding the windshield down, of course.

Now we are talking. I was thinking that would be a great excuse to get a roll cage for my Jeep. More mounting options.
