Anyone here a deer hunter? been thinkin about it. my friends bowhunt and have invited me a few times, gotta fill out some paper work. they have big expensive compound bows, though. mine's a longbow.

sethro...have you read that oregon gun law book?
im really interested in concealed carry...and evengoing hunting Not sure about the Gun Law Book but I've been legally Carrying Concealed 15+ years. Most of Oregon allows Open Carry also. I've carried open in National/State parks and forests with no problem. Even liberals carry here. thats good to hear! im hoping jackson county has good laws!

Been out several times this year for pheasants.
Bird count is pretty low.
I dont deer hunt until late muzzleloader...so late December.
