What diameter logs will it cut and level of difficulty in doing so? Are there any disadvantages with this type of saw?
I would like to use it for firewood, shelter building and possibly bush craft furniture.
I went through a 5 inch (diameter) tree that had fallen, but was not quite dead. It was tough, but the saw went through pretty effortlessly in about a minute.
This is the saw all the British bushcrafters use to do all the things you just listed.
It is excellent.
There are other good saws by Gerber, Silky and so forth, but I really like my Kershaw.
