I guess over the years I have owned 7 or 8 45s. I've had one ever since I was old enough to legally purchase a handgun in my own name.

Looking forward to it, I did receive my new grips yesterday, I keep looking at the longingly, can't wait to get them in the gun

IF your gun does not have checkered front strap (front side of the grip) and it moves in your hand when you shoot it, get yourself some skateboard tape and just put on. It will make a BIG difference in the grip. AND I am sure there are other things available as well. Just start hitting the net for accessories for your new toy! Oh and better get a second job!

I just drilled a hole straight through the wooden slabs for the handles and shaped the turquoise to fit. it's a traditional lockback, so the handles are really tiny. I have some pics but they'll have to wait for a while so I can upload them. Our server is finicky that way

Hi Jeff, don't know about lunch yet maybe pork chops or pork roast. Nope, not enough time for the roast. Maybe grilled roast beef and cheese sandwiches!

Randy, the roast beef and cheese sounds good--so much that I will hit an eatery tonight that has something called a Beefeater which is two pieces of garlic toast, provolone cheese, sliced roast beef, lettuce, tomato, and mayo (real mayo).

Not sure what coco Van is either.
