Guns aren't the problem, people are. When guns are outlawed, only criminals have them and then the criminals are at an advantage. When the population is armed they can defend against criminals and that serves as a equalizer. there are known stats that in places where gun sales and concealed carry permits go up, crime rates go down. Imagine a state or city or country where only the criminals have guns...that's what gun control basically would do. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. People can kill with many things..are we to ban them all? Liberals are scared of guns and their representatives in congress only vote the way they do cause they're seeking votes. Done. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

As an armed nation the US will never be successfully invaded. That's why so many other nations would like to see our citizens disarmed. I believe the US with its registered hunters and concealed carry licenses qualifies as the largest army in the world by far. Only knives smaller then 8 cm can be carried publicly but you are allowed to collect bigger knives and have them around the house!
