Used to eat carp at this GREAT fish place in Omaha. If you ordered fish there you got carp unless you specified Catfish. You would never know it.

Uncle Um. I had walked up to the ditch they are pumping from across the road to the other side of the road and one guy netted on and tossed it up on the bank to get rid of it. I just walked over stepped on its LONG snout and stuck it in the head.

Yeah snappers are what I would be more afraid as well.

there use to be four of us that bowfished carp.
The first time we did it there were a couple of Asians with rods a reels trying to catch them
In a coupe of hours we had 10 or 12 carp, the asians had caught nothing, when we left we gave them the fish.
They soon figured out what days we usually fished, and would give us wine as we would not take money for the carp (invasive species in BC)
they must have cried when we stopped fishing

Buffalo is another rough fish down here along with Drum.
