Philly is silly, to make up a rhyme, its like that here all the time, and you can't say anything to anyone here out of fear of offending someone.

There is the same attitude here in the winter for school dismissals, I work at a city school and all the schools around us will delay and even cancel based solely on the local forcast. Granted we don't travel as many back roads as the other schools but I've seen schools cancel and us not get more than a couple of inches of snow. The kids at our school call the superintendent No Delay McVey because he waits until the very last minute to cancel or delay school. I do realize with schools it's about the childrens' safety.
