Dogs:

I had to drink a lot of Blue with Boss Hog to get my hands on this scrap INFI steel but the hangovers were worth it. This knife is willing and ready since it sports a newly designed Resiprene C handle. The ScrapYard War Dog has a .235" thick full height flat ground INFI steel blade. The hand applied satin finished blade features a blended convex zero-edge for excellent cutting power and strength. This combination provides an incredible feel that you will not want to put down. It is priced at $179.95 plus shipping and handling. There is a limited number so when they are gone they are gone.

Here are the specs for the War Dog

Overall Length: 9 3/4"
Blade Length: 5"

Bump just so we can look at it again.
Steel: INFI
Hardness: 58-60 RC
Grind: Full Height Flat Grind
Weight: 6.2 ounces

Expect this to go up on the site today or worst case tomorrow. Best of luck getting in on this one

Dan

I had a DMDC and have a S5LE. I loved the full flat grind on the DM and the S5 is sweat but a saber grind. I think the War Dog will be the perfect combo of the two. Plus I have been debating hard about giving up the S5LE and I think this bad boy maybe more my taste.

I EDC The DMDC, and Feel like I could use it as a prybar. With the 1 inch narrowness of the war dog, i dunno about it being a prybar. I think i could edc the war dog, and use the DMDC as a camp, hiking knife. or a work knife, If only they let us carry knives at work (>_<)

How 'bout that 1311, eh?

I guess my reason for buying this is It would be my first piece of INFI, and it's a new handle

It reminds me of an improved Dumpster Mutt. Bit slimmer, updated design (more bod-doggish), new handle, and INFI!! Loving it!

since my knife budget is so tight, i think im gonna have to pass one this one for this reason - i have a dumpster mutt and use it for everything id use the war dog for, so the dumpster mutt would just sit around doing nothing, and its held up to everything ive thrown at it.. plus i have a nice custom sheath for it.. so no ill wait and get my chopper eventually XD

If you can possibly swing it I recommend doing so. I have passed on a few and regretted almost everyone of them and the sad thing is I only get out to use them on a few occasions but the war dog might be my new edc.

JerseyBob, this is going to be VERY limited. Order now and you won't pay until it ships in mid to late June. Order or you'll miss it.

I really like the new grip shape and realized I've seen something similar and that is the SRK by cold steel. I've always been drawn to that knife but never got one, now with Dan's infi and Res-c I think this could be one of the hottest releases. It's a shame it will be a limited run, I hope all of us that want one can get one.

I can't even see the pictures and I know I'm going to order at least one (hopefully). It will be my first INFI and the spec's read great.

Its 3:11 in California and its not up yet....hopefully it will be when I get home in 2 or 3 hrs.

STEELEY! BRO! HOW MANY TIMES WE BEEN OVER THIS???? Get a strop. Watch the vids. It is so much easier than freehand sharpening with a stone (in my opinion )
no yelling haha. Yah strop need to gt one. Freehand sharpening took me about a total of 4 hours to be able to get knives sharp enough to push cut phonebook paper.
