Congrats!

I've always wanted to check out the ASH1.
I know many people on the Busse forum frequently list the ASH1 when people ask "if you could only have one"

What version is yours?
What are the specs

Thanks
MM

You know it never happened unless it was documented with a camera.

My hands are way too sweaty and unsteady to take any pics just now... I will do some in the next day or two never fear.

This one is around .27 down the spine and has a black blade with the black and tan G10 ...it is just sooooo sweet.... Till today I had thought the RMD was the best knife I had ever had in hand, it may now be second...

I have ANOTHER ASH1 about to ship to me (alone with six other Bussekins and an Emerson) from Florida, the other is a sandy blade with tan G10.... I was a little nervous having invested nearly $1K in two knives but now the first has arrived I am VERY comfortable with the decision...

Congrats Andy!! I love my ASH-1 too! It's Definitely my favorite Knife in that Size range.

.27"? Must be a one off. I've never heard of one in that thickness! I would love to try it out. .32" is too thick on a 6 3/4" blade for my tastes, but but .27" I could probably work with.

Mine is Black with (OD?) Green Canvas Micarta Mags - .225" thick with a distal taper, which makes it perfectly weighted and balanced in my opinion.

I'll show you mine if you show me yours...Come on Andy, we need some of your gorgeous pics!co

The color choice for my barnesbands lanyard was pretty easy for this blade.

The handles on the ASH-1 are perfection in my opinion. They fill the hands perfectly and provide such an excellent grip.

I am by and large a Kydex man, but for some reason I felt my ASH needed a black leather sheath. This one happens to be from Chuddy Bear. Have you decided on a sheath yet?

Congrats again! I really love my ASH, and think you will love yours more and more. I can't wait to see yours!!

The satin LEs were .225". I'm intrigued and glad you share the same love as I do Andy! We need some of your famous pictures! Speaking of pictures, mine are gigantic shocked! I'm going to fix them in a sex. Sorry about that.

If and when I have to sell my blades, the last to go will be my ASH and Dog Father.
