cool chopoff. I've been thinking about trying one of those. I read somewhere it was designed for cutting insulation. I have a few of the fiddlebacks on imacasa blanks but haven't had a chance to try them out yet. My Condor Viking machete blade held up very well in wood. I mangled the belly hitting rocks in the dirt hard enough to fling sparks. It took down a 6" tree in my way in no time flat. The handles got loose, but I was really waling into that tree. much fun

nice chop off, that is what I loved ny busse kin knives for. The battle rat and chopweiler were my favorite busse kin knives. That is a shame about the frosts machete though...

I don't know about the Mora, but most of machetes are soft. They will chop hard wood with the right edge and technique, but the steel will not hold an edge like a Busse-made knife. But they are east to sharpen. Nice comparison.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
