Traditionally puukko was made with a blade that was flat ground - itīs very easy to sharpen because the angle is always the same when you place the blade on the stone.

Familiar looking logo on that puukko... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Back to the top for notoriety. I think this needs to happen.

Sorry for the late chime in. But it looks to me basically like a Scandi-ground choilless 411. I would definitely be interested especially if it was in SR101. I was looking for a bushcrafter type blade to accompany my 911 and something like this would fit the bill perfectly. The other option I was looking at was the TOPS B.O.B. knife which is basically a woodlore type design. If Scrap Yard came out with something like that in SR-101 I would be on it like flies on crap. I think that would make an awesome bushcraft set a 911 and either the knife above or a woodlore type blade. I would definitely want the smaller blade to be a scandi-grind. Take it for what it is that being just my 2 cents.

regards,
Joe

I also love pukko/puukko blade style, but the thin edge seems more likely to roll on harder materials. However, the Bussekin super heat treat (magical fairy dust additive, etc) may not have this problem. I'd be interested to see that style offered.
