Thx SkunkHunter for the info, I hope you are right !
I personally think my Taliwhacker is the most important knife in my collection. I had a real hard time to get one, and it has some personal meaning to me.

But I probally buy me a new Taliwhacker as a user because the original one is a safequeen ;-) one of the only knives I don't wanna use.

is the Ratweiler really as good as they keep saying ?

Greets,

IIRC, there were only 68 Tali-Whackers released to the public from a Military Overrun. And YES, they are highly cherished. Initially (the ones actually delivered to the Military) I THINK had a Busse Combat dog tag attached as well.

The Ratweiler AND Chopweiler (updated Ratweiler) are very well loved by all those that have them. They are both highly sought after blades. IF you are working on building a collection, specially of the "Classic" blades one of or both these must be on the list, along with an SS4 (Street Scrapper 4).

Personally, (MY funds are very limited) I would concentrate on the harder to get (as in the older ones) first if going after a collection and regulate the newer models to the backup list. That's just me though, if your list is the ones you really want, then GOPHERIT!

But I have already a pretty busse kin knife collection, I doesn't even know how manny I already have.
I know I have a few of the hard to get knives:

Tali-whacker
INFIcoot
BullDog Regulator

2x swamp rat M9 CG that jerry brought me from bladeshow
War Dog
....

Most of the other ones that i have are not that hard to find.

Do you think a Ratweiler could defeat a M9 CG in a chopping contest ?

Don't really know for sure as I don't have nor have had either one. IT MIGHT depend upon the weights. The Ratweiler though is known for chopping much better than it's size would indicate.

Hey sounds like a plan. And you know you won't have any trouble getting rid of the looser. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I love all my blades small, big, thin & thick,...

When I got the Ratweiler I will try to post pictures of the chopping contest.

Hey, reconscout. The new Tali-Whacker also appears to have a different grind near the tip. Which to me is not as good as the original. I think the originals will remain just as special as they have always been.
