Back from Bladeshow now and just wanted to show some the stuff I got. No Scrap Yard scores, since I already have most of the models. It was a great show, and I was amazed at the amount of high quality blades there! Did I not have some degree of restraint, I would be a poor man now. First off, I want to say: Tom Kanik is a great guy. As I introduced myself, he gave me this Scrap Yard bracelet he had made, right off the bat! Here paired with my beat up Yardkeeper, since the logo is the same as the charm: Actually I recieved my #22 Taliwhacker the day before I left for Atlanta, but here it is: Custom Shop Ratmandu. Clippoint and with a slight swedge on the blade. Sheath: Rowes leather Custom Shop 311, full height flat I would call it. Sheath: Rowes leather And finally the Vex. Great job on the convexed edge! Sheath Rowes leather

So what did you get? I'm jealous that I live much closer than you do, but didn't get to go.

Feldgrun, I pressed the "post button" too soon, before adding the pics. So now the post is complete.

Thanks, Rasmus! That Vex is excellent. I've been mumbling about wanting a good bushcraft knife from Bussekin, and I may have found one. If only I'd been at Blade...

I never gave those Rodent 3's a second thought since a friend of mine has one of the Cupidganza ones and I find it to be too thick, but today I discovered that these are much thinner and FFG. Now I'm intrigued. Nice score!

Yup, all thinned out! Looks and feels great. I actually got it for my girlfriend, and the thinner grind will fit for her perfectly.
