If you have a warm house, food on the table, clean drinking water, a honest police force, fire department, availability of medical care, modern dentistry, electricity, connection to the internet, more than one set of clothes, a car/truck, ability to protest against your government, a job, retirement fund, religious freedom, non-government controlled news, and a military that is willing to protect all of these thing for you, you have a better life than the majority of the earth's population.
