Mine is an RWS Diana model 45 in .177. NOW I wish that I had gotten a .22 as you can now get them that will shoot about 1000fps on a single cocking . Don't know about tin cans but I have killed 12 Skunks with my .177 and all but one were One shot, One Kill. The one that took two shots was about 20-25 (maybe even 30 but I don't think so) yards away and IF I had hit where I was aiming it would also have been a 1 shot kill. First Skunk I killed. Oh and I shot a 10 pound tom cat out of a tree about 20 feet up. One shot to the head, dead cat on the ground. (It was attacking other people's pets on the block).
Mine I bought back in 1991 so they have improved since then. Personally I don't like CO2 guns or "Pre charged" air guns. I also like Tom prefer the barrel cocking, or the side lever cocking type. Do your home work and be prepared to spend some bucks if you want a good one. I paid $350.00 for mine and it weighs about 8 or 9 pounds. Looks like a deer rifle!
Do your homework and read MANY reviews on the ones you like the looks of.
