I have a Benjamin Trail in .22 @1,100 FPS, a side lever in .177 and a Crossman CO2 in .177. CO2 guns are easy to shoot (no manual cocking) but the cartridges get expensive if you shoot a lot. I would recommend that you go to Pyramidair.com. They have a lot of info and tutorials. Very helpful in picking out your first air gun.
