Din - couple ideas...

Glock and Sprinfield XD both have .357 sig. The XD's are great from what I hear, by the way! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I was just being difficult as well!

You can get some models from Sig (and others I'm sure) that you can swap out barrels between .357 Sig and .40. .357 Sig is a 40 case necked down to .357 - so you can use the same Mags, it uses the same extractor setup and everything - and .40 is cheaper to shoot than .357 sig.

That said, I'm w/ Jer that if you're just gonna shoot, the 9mm is great. I got the 9mm instead of the .40 because I can shoot cheap surplus ammo - and lets face it, 9mm is a very good defensive round, even though it gets a bad rap! NYPD still carries it - and they kill people all the time!!
