I have a nice G-Shock but quit wearing it and just use my cell phone usually.
I totally believe in having as good quality accoutrements as you can afford.
The Vikings would denote status by the quality of weapons ,gear and arm rings.
It also makes sense to spend money on the stuff you use every day. I am going to have some silver arm rings made. I also like the new trend of using damascus and titanium for rings and jewellery.
I am also getting really into the idea of trying to only spend my money on things that will at least hold their value. Way to much of the stuff we buy becomes worthless in a couple years. Even big purchases like cars are worth a third less the moment we drive them off the lot. I love nice electronics but they are one of the worst things for losing value. I try to buy them after they go down but [censored] I want a nice TV.
Winter here means you spend a LOT of time indoors so it makes sense to have a decent home theatre but right now I have a 21 inch 100$ RCA. I have been considering a projector. I had a buddy's for a couple months and it was awesome.
