I think the thicker CG ASH-1 with magnum handles might chop better than mine. I prefer the S6 or M6, even though the Busse is just beautiful. The Ratweiler is the mid-sized chopper king IMO. If all you want is a pure monster chopper, get a fat FBM. I think the new DFLE will be a great all-around big chopper, but that is just my opinion. I'd be willing to bet that it chops as well as the original DF, and will probably be quicker in the hand for those times when you are slashing through vines and brush. If you want something smaller, get the ratweiler. If you want the cheapest possible big chopper, buy a machete.
