The edge has a very fine convex grind.

But, what you might be confused about is the "primary" grind.

The Dog Fathers - both have a flat grind with a (secondary grind) convex edge.

There are some other makers such as Bark River and Fallkniven that have a "Full" convex to sharp single grind - no secondary grind.
