Hahaha not sure why sharp keeps quotes inside jokes to you; that dynamic is something of an inside joke between you two. But anyway, as for the RD7, how did you thin out the edge? I tried with a coarse stone and it did something, maybe i just need to work it a bit more.

But yeah, i agree StabbyJoe, those edges insanely thick. About 2" of edge from the belly to the tip are basically blunt also. I may just send it back to him to sharpen, or capable forum member here.
