At risk of starting a flame war I think almost all Busse Combat knives are a bit ugly. There are times I like my Badger Attack Tac and even on those days I still think it's ugly! If you look at a Busse compared to a Bark River knife (AD v. Bravo 1 for example) the Barkie looks nicer, looks more expensive and <most> examples will probably be better finished.. But the AD will survive things that would kill the B1 (but the B1 has been adopted by the USMC so it's got to be pretty tough).
Anyway, why someone would want to replace res-C with micarta is beyond me! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
+1 on replacing Res-C with Micarta. I for some reason don't like the rough feel of unfinished canvas micarta. Barkies do come with a better fit and finish on the handles.
Though, I could be a little biased on this one, but I think the FBM is just so freaking sweet looking. I love the feel of the sculpted G-10. But, as I said, I could be a little biased on this one. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
