you would put A2 against sr 101?
I thought sr 101 holds a great edge and was tough?
I didn't even think A2 held that amazing of en edge and if it's not even as tough as 1095 I don't see it being an amazing knife steel. (even if it holds an edge well)

can you tell me what makes it so great?
(not being smart BTW)

anuways, I think goloks are cool because you get the maximum chopping surface for the amount of blade.
(since there is not point)

so I like the design and see it being very useful for all kinds of stuff.

for the BRKT golok specifically...
it looks nice, it's a little pricey, (compared to something like a SY that is) but a nice design, decent steel and no doubt great geometry.

and I think it's safe to say what people want and what they are willing to pay is not something we can control or should try to.
(i think it's been established though... I'm a little late)

I'd have no problem spending 300$ of my hard earned money on one knife.
some may not want to spend over 100 because it's not worth it to them...
whatever, thats fine.
