The HC is better looking and easier to conceal and makes for a better EDC. The SS4 is a perfect work knife is tougher and has a sightly more comfortable handle.
The HC is a bit heavy for it's size but not to bad. I would wear my SS4 if I have my pack or I was going out in the bush with only one knife.

I am looking forward to having a matching leather sheath for my HC so it can piggyback on my DFLE sheath. I was looking for the right companion knife for a while and think the HC is perfect. The colour scheme is my favourite, shiny black and shiny steel. The materials are perfect ,Res C handles on the big knife and black G10 on the small. The steel is exactly right as well with S7 for the big hard use knife and CPM154 with more edge retention and rust resistance on the smaller blade.
