Nice review Vic....does your FFBM have standard grips? They seem thinner than Mag's? The Kukri you used.....would that be heavier than the CS Kukri ? Looks like it and by quite a bit if it is 16 inches on the blade.....it looks like the quality of the steel as well as the edge must play a part?

Has me thinking would a San Mai CS kukri may be the the best challenger out there?

If it is just blade geometry and edge you would think your 16 inch Kukri would have it? That edge looked as sharp as you can get....

Maybe it is a combination of steel and the heat treatment given to the blade that makes the difference ?

Design wise the kukri blade should have a lead on the FFBM for chopping....the performance of the FFBM really is suprising but perhaps not when looking at the Nos tests.....I wonder what an Infi Kukri would be like? Makes you wish Jerry would get the drawings we have seen put into effect <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
