Yes, standard grips. Yes, the Ang Khola weighs 27 oz, the CS 22 oz, I think. The CS has a 12" blade vs 10.75" for this khuk. I don't think the quality of the steel has that all that much to do with a short chopping contest. The INFI would definitely hold its edge longer than the HI. The CS Carbon V is better than the spring steel HI uses, too. I like the full flat grind on the CS better, too. A heavier Khuk, one as heavy as the FFBM would have an advantage, IMO. You know that my FFBM has a super sharp convex edge. That INFI can take a little sharper edge than I could get with the HI, but they both will shave. I think the San Mai Kukri is probably very nice, but I already have a Carbon V one and it cuts just fine.

As for an INFI Kukri, Sign me up! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> A SY Kukri with SR77 steel and Res C handle (especially in the kukri shape) would be awesome. It would be expensive. Think of how wide the stock would have to be to make it.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
