Actually... Just to confuse matters, Combat Grades are not always coated. They are also occasionally offered in double cut.

I don't recall ever seeing a "Double-Cut" blade referred to as "Combat Grade".

I have always just seen them referred to as "Double-Cut" and sometimes "DC".

So, I think it would be fair to say "DC" is another catagory of finish.

But, when have you seen a Double-Cut reffered to as "CG" or "Combat Grade"?????

CG is not such a great bang-for-the-buck for those of us who want "User" satin finishes and have to strip the coatings.

"IF" a satin version is offered at a "reasonable" price, as Dan / Scrap Yard has luckily provided, then I personally consider the Satin version as better bang-for-the-buck.

If Busse offers Satin (LE or whatever) at $200-$330 more than already high priced INFI, then satin is not a good value at all (IMO).

A "LE" or satin finish might be a collectible to some. I consider satin a "More" worthy "User" grade finish.
