...Vic, glad to hear the BRKT has made it right. I have been looking at a few of their designs because I want a traditional skinner. I remember when you broke the BRKT, I thought no way.
It was a defect in the steel right at the tang. I have done much more rigorous use with other Barkies and had no problem. The steel was 1085. My replacement is 50-100B (Carbon V, 0170-6C, CroVan,etc).
