The KZ is definitely one heavy beast - I wonder how many people will mention the weight in their "test team" comments that are sent to Jerry...
You could always get one now, and if you decide it's too heavy, sell it for a profit in six months, and hope they lighten it up for the release model.
You can be sure that I will test it fairly and weight will be one of those things I consider in my testing. A thinner, lighter model would please me, but some testers are bound to go with the "heavier is better" school of thought. If absolute maximum chopping power is the only purpose of the KZ, they may be right.
