There was a guy on the Camillus forum who actually formulated the heat treating for the steel. Sadly, the steel is no longer being made. Camillus made the Carbon V blades for CS, and the 0170-6C Beckers. Those steels are the same.
Who is no longer making the carbon V? Cold Steel or Camillus? Very interesting HD!
