Maybe press to fit. If you put the blade in the freezer and heat the guard it will go on easier. But this means you'd be working with VERY tight tolerances. It's something I'll have to mess around with.
That was my thought too. Done that with some rifle brls.
Yes, I did this with some helicopter (CH-53D Sea Stallion, Semper Fi) parts.
I remember they stored some parts in the freezer in the line shack when I was in HMH-461 at MCAS New River N.C. Ahhh the memories.
