The Condor Jungle Bowie, Cold Steel Peace Keeper, Cold Steel ODA and UWK, and the CS sub hilt fighter that was used to stab a cape buffalo to death all come to mind. Then there was the Kraton handled SOG Tigershark. Old school fighters had brass or steel guards that were often even less durable than the Regulator and other molded handles with guards.
