Lets get this started.
My first car was a 1963 Chevy Impala convertable. Originally it was a maroon color. I got it when I was 16 years old and earned the $350 dollars sitting on a lifeguard chair for two strait summers making $1.75 hour. The car was 10 years old when I got it and the fellow selling was getting rid of it since his 18 year old daughters had stayed out all night...bad luck for her and great luck for me.
It had a power roof, power steering but still had the big steering wheel. I added a AooHgaa horn and painted it red...wow the memories

At the end of my Jr year in highschool we moved to a small town of 5000 people. The guys in the school had an interesting car race that they did. 2 cars would race from one end of the cemetary to the other end...roughly 1/2 mile. The road had at least 12 Rt and Left hand turns and you had to do it with your lights off and run at midnight with no moon. The champ in the school had won more races than anyone as well as he completely totaled 3 car by hitting very large monuments. By the end of my senoir year they gated the race track
