I think they're all comparable, although Micarta (if left "fuzzy) has a little more give to it and so can be both more comfortable as well as absorb a very small amount of shock. One of the reasons that I really like birch handles is that they also tend to have a fuzzy texture and are excellent thermal insulators. I think that wood has the upper-end capacity to be more attractive than either G10 or Micarta, although I've seen some very interesting Micartas made with burlap and yarn. G10 seems to be pretty tough, so I'd choose it as most wear resistant/longevity winner, but Micarta is also good.
