I love the SF dagger and Blondie posted the best one with the knurled grip not the later ringed one. I think the reason you get totally different looking knives for knife fighting is the styles are different.
For a thrusting style preferably from the behind the SF dagger is perfect. It is also the most knife for the least weight.

I know it is blasphemy but I would trade all my Scrappers for that SF Dagger.

The bowie with the sharpened back clip is a personal favorite of mine and is getting very popular. I think it is better suited fighting someone else with a knife or gun rather than just sneaking up and sticking it in someones ear OSS style. This is why you get bigger longer knives with sharpened back clips for snap cuts. The knives the HD put up earlier are perfect examples especially the one with the very sharp back edge.(he said he did a mediocore job but I thought it was impressive as hell)A full size Mojo with a sharpened back edge would be awesome for this.

I like knives that are not as big as the old style bowies so you can pack them better and for better thrusting but still being able to use snap cuts. I have a modified Buck 119 with a sharpened clip(some people take the top guard off as well for better grip options)but the ultimate version of this type of knife is the Busse Pure Bred Fighter

I reread my old post HD and it did sound like I was saying handguns are good for close quarters bottle opening work <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />
