in fact i remember watching (iirc) some 20/20 study of how a middle school got in trouble for teaching their students how to Overwhelm an armed attacker.. by throwing chairs, objects at hand.. at the shooter, and then try to tackle him.

Reminds me of
-the kid who brought an AK to school shooting.. the principal was killed trying to tackle him, but a custodian got to the kid and disarmed him.
That principal was a Hero!

Also in Cho's rampage..
Someone told me that a brave professor barricaded the door to a room with his body.. getting killed in the process but giving some college students time to climb out of windows.
This professor was a Hero!

Unfortunately.. i KNOW this will happen again at other schools in the future!
I just hope that.. i dunno.. school/campus officials, campus security, local police, other students, etc.. can somehow Learn.. and somehow minimize fatalities in the future..
