I used my RM last year to chop up the Xmas tree indoors after the season. I thought it’d make it easier to fit out the door. The problem was, it made the blade really sticky with pine sap and was hard to clean off, even with soap and a scrubber pad. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

yeah both my knives were Covered in Sap! my gloves too.. was pretty stick situation. Iirc, the x-mas tree was Douglas Fir.. if that makes any difference.
I sprayed WD-40 all over the knives.. scrubbed w/ toothbrush.. WD-40 again.. then dunked in hot soapy water.. and both came clean Easy!
