I dipped it but should stuck with the plan to dip the handle up to the lanyard hole an then dip it a second time up to the first grind. instead I dipped the whole thing. first coat looked thinso I dipped again but kept dipping it in and out a few times. that added up to more weight than most are probably going to want on a necker.

I let it dry some and started seeing what I could do to shape the handle. not much without screwing up a neat finish. i plan to trim it up and maybe see what happens withsome loft sandpaper bit this it where it is now. plan to leave it to dry for the rest of the day.
