went back to look at it and the coating has thinned down a lot. looks like that thickness is the kind of coat most guys might actually want may even want it thicker. still see the shape of the handle corners and prybar it pads the prybar just enough to keep it from digging in. I still see the outline of the lanyard hole as well. the prybar would still work fine for something like a dried on paint can.

I'm thinking the coolest way to keep it looking good would be to dip the prybar then let that get fairly dry. then dip half of the handle and let that get dry enough to trim off the drip off with scissors. then either dip it just over that half, dry, and do a paracord wrap or dip it up to the first grind (at a angle like in the pic) and then be done with it. when you dip it in the first time probably push it in and out a few times to make sure that is the thickest coat that goes on. and then just in and out once twice for the last coat. I this would create a nice slight taper towards the rear. you will probably still feel the same area where the handle digs in but it's just not digging in anymore. if it is still annoying you can always dip it again. and this stuff seems like you can break through it and peel it off pretty easy so starting over shouldn't be an issue.

more pics when its completely dry...
