I had to pay like $170 for mine intially.. then every 2 years have to take renew (~$70) + "3 hour safety class" ($30).
Don't mind the $70 / 2 years.. but that [censored] "safety class".. what a joke.
Otherwise it’s like $40 every 4 years, so it’s a much better deal. I’m glad we don’t have to go through any of that BS training stuff. And ya know what? I don’t think it’s needed. We don’t have it, and we don’t have irrresponsible permit holders going around acting crazy. Know what’s even funnier? The first person in my family to get a permit was my Mom.
