I've got a Ruger MkII Slabside Target model, and a 10/22 rifle, along with about 2k rounds of ammo. Also have a .17 HMR and about 500 rounds for it too. That right there will take a lot of game--small to larger. I have used a 17 HMR on a yote before and devastating. I've killed several deer with a .22 to the head, dropped them in their tracks. I'll do ok, if need be. If they're too far away, I've got a few others in the safe <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I think I need a can for my .308, just in case I need food but not heard by others. I like quite time and I don't want to share with the zombies in the woods.

Chris, you seem to be surprisingly on top of things considering you are suffering from sleep depravation!
(I knew a spook whose job it was was to "listen" to things). You should have seen the inside of the van he used for work! Probably a 1966 VW, curtains, shag carpet, rolling smoke, a bunch of neat little electronic devices, and a RPG along with a Mexican Mauser in the overhead camper part. Is that close?
