I'd like a full size 45. I have a 4.5" 1911 and a p220--I just wonder if I'm missing anything by not having a 5" barrel <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

It feels a little smoother, little less felt recoil, better sight radius on the 5 inch. I shoot it a little faster than the commander size. I do know a couple guys that could out shoot me with a compact 1911.
