Got it picked up, and boy is it sweet. And I just ordered a Streamlight TRL-3X WML for it. according to Amazon I should have it tomorrow. If so I know where it is warehoused, about 35 miles away.

Made a discovery (and got it nixed). “They” wanted me to have an echocardiogram Friday Prior to the surgery. I can understand and have no problem with this. BUT I asked them that since I had one done on the 5th, WHY was another one required. They once again said wha? Then when they looked in my records, AGAIN for the second time, that I had already had one done, they said never mind.
I know I ain’t to smart (being a Redneck and all), but I figured they were either trying to pad the account or one doctor wasn’t having his staff check with the other. Either way, I WILL NOT be needing a second Echocardiogram.

Haha, they could remove 100 pounds of stuffing and I’d still weigh just over a buck fifty. If the surgery don’t get me all this paperwork sure will!

Randy, the General drove to the Chicago suburbs, not fly. I also hope the Chefs are on their "A game" for your surgery. Hey, maybe they could remove some of your extra "stuffing" as well.

I SHOULD be picking up my new complete slide assembly tomorrow for my G43/43X. Then I’ll be able to mount my Vortex Defender inclosed emitter RDS. I reckon the 43X version will be my primary. I have some Glock 15 round mags for it and only 12 rounders for the G43. Hey, nine rounds could make a big difference. Do I truly think I’ll ever need that difference, no, but why not use any advantage you can.

Morning Yard. Overcast and rainy here with more predicted. Just 15 more days before I’m layed open like a pan fried Chicken, I sure hope that the Chef and all his Sous chefs are at the top of their game that day.

It must have been really bad to delay the flight. BUT better that than have a problem just to get back to her little private a day earlier. Generals are precious.

Thanks M/B, and same to you. We had a heck of a storm move through earlier bringing a LOT of rain. We decided the General should wait to return tomorrow due to more storms expected later. I hope everyone else is doing OK.

Today is hot and muggy ; step outside and immediately break a sweat. Really glad I mowed yesterday ! Still waiting to see if the storms materialize overnight and tomorrow. The General is planning to come home tomorrow depending on the weather.

The plot thickens. Just got home from from my angiogram testing today and it was a little bit surprising. At first, I thought we were just going to have a look to figure out what actually was going on inside the art and my heart and possibly get a stent if necessary after the procedure, the doctor came in and said that he would not be doing a stent, but I would be scheduled for a triple bypass, possibly within two weeks, the surgeon to do the procedure came in and said that he will check with his office and try to get me scheduled for a visit to get some basic information and then schedule a procedure and he also stated hopefully within two weeks so I guess I’m on standby at least for a couple weeks and then we’ll see what happens. Needless to say it was kind of a shock, but we’re gonna take care of it and everything‘s gonna be fine.
