Nice to know you all had a nice Christmas.

Well, made it home from the G’kids for Christmas. G’ma made out like a bandit. She got some lip gloss, Chap stick, a small cute stuffed animal called a cloud and a really nice UGG blanket (didn’t even know they made anything but overpriced shoes). I got a pair of UGG house shoes I guess and one of those cheapie old switchblade knives that’s really a comb. I LOVE IT! First thing I did was comb my ponytail and the kids lost it saying they KNEW I’d do that.


And with the stepson’s help I got my plate carrier (with the plates inside) correctly fitted. It appears I had the rear plate about an inch to an inch and a half to high. Now they’re even on my fat bod.

And a happy kwanza to you to Tom.

Well, at least we thought of you.

Big Brown delivered my plates today, and I’ve already got them in the carrier and all sized to my fat body yhey’re actually fairly comfortable, and here’s to hoping they will never be needed for the task they were designed for.

Supposed to be 70 here on Christmas Day.

This is the Craziest fall/winter temperature wise, here. I can't remember it ever being this warm this long in The Rockies. With all the rain, we have green grass growing. It's supposed to be 55 and rainy on Christmas. But we have had avalanches from all the snow in a short time, 55 miles East of the house.

This year went by way too fast.

Yeah I thought it was pretty slick.

I know, but 300 bucks for 2 basically level 4 plates ain’t bad.

I didn’t even have plates on my long range radar until a friend gave me brand new set of carriers with ammo pouches for Christmas.

But I guess it’s really like insurance. You don’t need it until you need it. So I guess it’s worth eating Ramen noodles again for a couple months.

Looks like it's great stuff, I just wish the price was for the entire vest instead of individual plates.

Good morning Randy and the rest of the Yard. Yesterday the General put up our little three feet tall Christmas tree and Nativity set so I guess we are all set for Christmas.
