You’re all still here!!! I thought the yard was gone for good. I was trying to look up specs for some of my knives and it was gone.

Had our ‘23 Ford Edge checked out for hail damage Friday. They found 50+ dents estimated 2648 and some change. It’s gonna cost us 500. We were lucky though. Some folks estimate was over 4 grand.

Well, this is the day we have to go to one of the Missouri bastions of progressiveness, St. Louis. Hopefully we’ll make it safely out of the den of inequity and safely back home.

Evening Yard!
I broke down and mowed today. I couldn't take the uneven shaggy look on the lawn. LOL, I hate doing it this early since I will have to do it every week, The End of May is usually the average time I stat here. Witht he drought I may lose my back lot lawn.

Good afternoon Yard. Another beautiful day out there and tomorrow is supposed to be the same, so I guess I will mow again tomorrow. The grass is sure loving all the rain. ;(

I agree Tom. That’s another reason I prefer my “Extended length” Blachthorn Shillelagh. He”s 52 inches tall and weighs right at 2 pounds. He’s a hefty boy, but like the legendary Timex, he Takes a Licking and keeps on Stickin.

I have a couple really nice canes that I use sometimes now. But I’ve found out I’m much better off using at least a 50 inch “stick”, preferably one 55 inches up to 5 feet. That way if I have to catch myself I don’t have to bend over to accommodate the shorter length cane and thereby am able to remain more upright.

Well, using a heat gun I got my Blackthorn hiking staff pretty straight. Well as straight as the slight dogsleg bend will allow. It is a lot straighter now and I am happy. Got the double bow out of the blackthorn cane as well. All in all, a nice couple of days.

Patty says she does too, I guess she’s not ready for that world cruise yet. She was talking weird though, something about the yacht not being ready for sea trials until February.
