I really enjoy a turkey dinner as it's not very often we have one. Also, the General makes a great turkey soup. smile

It’s weird, but I like Turkey from the deli to make sandwiches. Baked Turkey I can do without. I also like Turkey salad.
Also I like fried ham also, baked is OK, but fried is better.

This Thanksgiving it's just the wife and I.

I think we are going to make Lasagna. We have decided that Turkey just isn't high enough on the list of what we like to eat to bother cooking it anymore.

About 120 miles for us, but at least it's on good roads. I also hope to visit the burial site of legendary mountain man Jim Bridger, maybe 25 or so miles from my brother's home.

Ah, Thanksgiving with the family. We’re planning the same thing but we only gotta go about 25 miles.

We are fine, just a rain storm last night. The weekend is supposed to be pretty nice but rain moves in early Monday morning. Figures, as that's when we drop off the dogs at the Vet / kennel before going to visit my brother in Blue Springs. We're going to be gone for a week, a mini family get-together on tap. smile

A gloomy overcast day here as well, and now it is lightly raining. It makes for a nice day to stay inside and relax. smile

Well the custom leather holster I bought back in early October made it here yesterday. IT IS SWEET!

TT Gunleather holster for my VP9sk with TLR-7A WML primary CCW. I have 2 holsters from him now and the are world class without the world class price.

So if you’re looking for a great leather holster give him a look see, you won’t regret it.

We use both, but the cans seem to store better long term. Plus like Skunk says a lot of the time we don't even need a full cans worth. We use bullion as well. They didn't even have the boxes of chicken broth. It was weird.

We use both. That way some is always good even if we don’t use any for a while. And sim3 things just call for a 10oz can not a full 32oz.

M/B, we buy chicken broth in cartons, not cans.

We went to Costco today. I was surprised by the amount of stuff that I couldn't get because they didn't have it, No crunchy peanut butter and not a single can of chicken broth. Those are always 2 of the staples in my pantry, and I always buy them from Costco. There wasn't even an open space for the canned broth. Just a lot of smaller stuff that they didn't have in store.

I have time to find the stuff, but it was weird. I have been using up my stored canned goods, and it's time to replenish them. Hopefully, before the next shutdown.

Sounds like good preps M/B.

We're having near record high temps lately, and rain moving in a few days later. Enjoying it as long as we can. smile

Evening Yard!

Looks like winter weather is finally heading our way tomorrow.

I replaced some damaged parts on my ATV. It wasn't too bad, but some of the trails I rode this year were pretty rough. I got my Plow hooked up and ready to go for this winter. I'm still trying to chase down a slow leak on one tire. I can't track it down even in a dunk tank.

It was warm enough today that I was able to caulk the seams on the chicken coop and it should be ready for the winter.
