Well, using a heat gun I got my Blackthorn hiking staff pretty straight. Well as straight as the slight dogsleg bend will allow. It is a lot straighter now and I am happy. Got the double bow out of the blackthorn cane as well. All in all, a nice couple of days.

Yup, saw it and it is nice looking. Just not my jam.

Patty says she does too, I guess she’s not ready for that world cruise yet. She was talking weird though, something about the yacht not being ready for sea trials until February.

Good morning Yard. We had a lot of thunder and lightning last night but only a little rain. In a while I have to, go for my one week checkup with the optometrist, and maybe a burger in town after that.

Randy, make sure you tell your doctor EVERYTHING you notice or feel. I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on television but that sounds like diabetic problems.

Something new I noticed. Today my feet have been swollen. Also I don’t seem to be urinating as much as I should for all the water I’ve been drinking today. Maybe it’s just a hot day thing. We got up to 82 degrees.

Even though I felt lazy, after I returned from a run to town I mowed the grass. Rough weather is headed our way again.

Well, I KNEW something was wrong. Whether it was something ACTUALLY wrong or just old fat and out of shape, or a combination I didn’t know. Now I do. I can’t do anything about the blood flow restriction (doctors maybe can), but I CAN do something about the lazy part which will help.

I hope for the best for you. At least you now know what the problem is and are getting medical attention.

Long story short. One of the Arteries in my heart is only allowing 47% blood flow versus 50-70 as normal. They’re calling it moderately severe. I reckon they’ll schedule me to see a cardiologist to figure out exactly what, if anything, to do. We shall see.

Amazing how the aches and pains find us as we age. I hope your problems clear up Randy,

Something’s going on with my GI tract for sure. Everything coming out isn’t supposed to be that watery. Goin on 2 weeks now. Gettin old sure ain’t for liberals.

Well, I just got out of the shower so I’m ready for my stress test tomorrow. Don’t really know why they have to give me a test, with everything going on around the world you’d think I’d get a free pass, but Noooo, they want their part of my retirement checks, the Vultures.

Good afternoon Yard. We are enjoying a nice relaxed day today but keeping an eye on the weather. Storms are predicted, possibly severe.

It rained earlier but the day turned out nice weatherwise, I took my truck tire to get repaired due to a flat, but I ended up having to buy a new tire. Apparently when I drove out in the field I hit a large rock that poked the side of the tire. I just finished installing the new tire.

Got the yard mowed today then about an hour later it started pouring.

Rain curtailed any outdoor activities today. Got some extra rest though.

I'm out of debt, but I don't have the problems with gold bars like you.

Got my Emerson Com-Seven folder yesterday. I must say I really like it. The commander blade shape isn’t my favorite, but I really like the CQC-7 handle.

I had to spend SOME money. The contractors said the gold bars are starting to make the steel I-beams holding up the vaults sag so I had to reduce the weight some.

Yeah, it’s nice being out of debt.

Yeah, folks are gearing up for outdoor activities.

Plus the actual cost per round isn’t as much, usually. Now the cost of equipment, well that’s a whole different kettle of fish.
