There is an interesting review of this one at the Swamp. The author favored his $80 Becker Bk9 over it based upon the performance.

The 0.280" thickness is a hard stop for me. I posted a couple of days ago that I like SR77 for big choppers (ironic, huh) but it doesn't need to be that thick. In fact, having tested over a half dozen Busse/kin choppers....the thickness can hurt it's performance.

For non users these giant knives are fun to own, take pictures of, etc.

For those of us that actually want to use, carry or otherwise depend on our knives....we have enough Crocodile Dundee options now. How about some practical detail knives?

When is the last time you chopped down a tree with a knife?
When is the last time you needed to open a package, cut up fruit, etc?

Maybe I'm doing knives wrong.
