I'm with coyotebc (Bill I believe ?) - I'm grumpy because there aren't many Busse/kin knives in the 4" range which is what I've found to be most useful. When they do make one it's 3/16" or better. I'd much prefer a 1/8" FFG.

I also have enough choppers. In fact, I have more than enough (and don't really USE what I have).

I too like to try and enjoy new knives but I actually use / need some good options in the 4" size category. Do you all remember my 17 bushcraft eval? That was a worthwhile exercise. It showed that Busse/kin hold their edge but are mostly too thick.

I don't want to have to go to Bark River Or Fallkniven for my needs but at this point I don't see an alternative.

I'd like to see a SR101 FFG 1/8" Yardkeeper with a slightly longer "basic handle". The YKCG was an immensely useful design.

ETA: I don't think any knife in the 5u+" range is going to better the RMD unless it's a FFG RMD with convex.

My favorite all round yard knife is my Yardkeeper and I agree 1/8 inch would be outstanding

And yes you are correct
My name is Bill
