But that is hardly the whole impression. All three knives were given equal edges. I expected the ASH-1 with its broad blade to chop better. Even though the Scrapper 6 felt noticably lighter, it was the easiest to control with precision and clearly chopped just a little deeper than the M6 did when the wood broke. The M6 was almost as comfortable to chop with as the Scrapper. It is a tank of a knife, the heaviest of the three. As you can see from the spine shot, the Busse is just a touch thinner than the other two.

I would have to say that the M6 and S6 tied for first place, with the beautiful Steel Heart lagging behind them both as a chopper. I am surprised. Glad I didn't put it up against the Ratweiler or Yard Guard. These are the winners in this little test.
