Thanks for the offer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I don't for a minute think that EVERYONE who buys more than one knife is buying purely for resale, but its happening for sure and it really runs contrary to my almost always positive experiences with the knife community.

The DFLE is not really the knife I am after right now, but if your product is so hard to get that prices on the secondary market are almost always more than the original product, then something is not right. This is, after all, a production knife company, not a one man shop.

The DM, for example, is listed as $70 in the shop. I have yet to see one sell for under $100 on the Exchange. The cheapest one I have seen went for $110.

I purely wish that SY and associated companies would crank up the production a bit. If I could get a DM for $70 plus shipping, I'd have one now, but I don't like the thought that I'm having to cough up extra just because I wasn't in the right place at the right time, financially and physically.

I just want to add I am NOT here to stir up trouble but as someone who has become aware of Busse family products just recently, I have something of an outsiders perspective on company, and it is a bit different, let's say, to other companies.

I would like someone to explain to me why it is that items in the line-up are not always available? Its a bit of puzzle to me to be honest.

Mark
