i have to clear out my garage to make room for my own little workshop. I also need to go to some yard sales/flea market to find a sturdy table to work on, but I don't know what height table to get. When you guys work on the sander, do you like the knife closer to your thighs, abs, or chest? I guess the closer it is to your chest, the more control, but also your arms get more fatigue. It is it just personal preference or is there a standard rule of thumb?

I find that a table height of 31-34" will fit most people pretty well depending on personal preference. I like to grind with arms at approximately stomach height or 90degrees to my torso.
