i love mine and think it is the perfect length unless your looking for an actual chopper.

the minimum blade length for a chopper should be 7in imo but the thickness of the CG ASH-1 lets it take some good chunks out for its length.

i love thick blades and i like its blade profile.probably the most indestructible knife ever made in that size
