I love my ASH-1. I think it's one of the most beautiful designed knives out there. The leaf shaped blade is particularly elegant while still being substantial. The steel, obviously, is first rate and I find Infi to be relatively easy to sharpen, though it took me long enough to re-profile the edge. Overall, great knife and just the right size. Anything over 7 inches becomes problematic to carry (for me at least), especially where other people are present. It holds a great edge too.

Just one more point - I prefer the CG ASH (like mine) to the skinny, because it's a full flat grind and with a convex edge bevel cuts like a demon. But this is just a personnal preference.

Here's mine:

I agree. When the Ash-1 cg is convexed, it is unbelievable how much better it cuts. And it cuts well. It is also my best stabber by far. It stabs better and deeper than my hell razor or my sfnole. Quite an amazing blade.

Wanna see my kydex!
